My name is Bartosz Lacki – a certified sworn translator of Polish and English, Legal English and Business English trainer, and course designer.
My mission is to make complex legal language and business communication clear, precise, and practical.

I specialize in training lawyers, law students and legal professionals to use English accurately and confidently, and in providing legal and business translation services to corporations and law firms.
As a sworn translator of Polish and English, I also work with corporate and institutional clients, delivering certified and non-certified translations and bilingual communication support.

Professional Experience
For over two decades, I have combined Legal English training and translation practice with a focus on clarity, precision, and real-world application. I have worked full time as a Legal and Business English trainer since 2007, delivering courses for law firms, government institutions, and corporate clients – including the Polish Ministry of Finance, Ministry of National Defence, PGNiG (Polish Oil and Gas Company), and the Warsaw Circuit Court. Throughout my career, I have taught both business and legal English to professionals across various sectors, with Legal English – including TOLES preparation – becoming an increasingly central part of my teaching practice in recent years.
Since 2006, I have operated AB Connect, my own professional language and translation practice in Warsaw, where I provide certified and non-certified Polish-English translations of legal and business documents. As a Sworn Translator of English and Polish (licensed in 2018), I ensure that all translations meet professional and legal standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
Earlier in my career, I gained international experience at the British Embassy in Warsaw – first in the Commercial Section, supporting British companies entering the Polish market, and later as Press & Public Affairs Officer, where I managed English-language briefings, translations, and communication for diplomatic staff. This background continues to inform my work today, combining linguistic expertise with a practical understanding of law, business, and international communication.
